Certification is only as credible as the accreditation behind it. Here is exactly where Anavah stands — stated plainly.
How the system works
ISO writes the standards. Accreditation bodies (under the IAF / Global ACI Multilateral Recognition Arrangement) accredit certification bodies. Certification bodies like Anavah issue certificates. Certificates are verifiable on IAF CertSearch.
Current status: [EDIT BEFORE PUBLISHING] State the exact position. If accreditation is granted, name the accreditation body (e.g. NABCB / UKAS / ANAB), the scope and the registration number. If in progress, use: “Accreditation to [body] for [standard] is in progress. In the interim, assessments are conducted by qualified auditors to the requirements of [standard] and ISO/IEC 17021-1.” Never imply accreditation you do not hold.
