Certification Process

The five stages

1

Application & Scoping

You apply; we define the scope of assessment and confirm eligibility. This is a certification activity — not consultancy.

2

Stage 1 — Readiness

We review your documentation and readiness against the standard and identify anything that would prevent a successful Stage 2.

3

Stage 2 — Certification Audit

An evidence-based assessment of your management system in operation: interviews, records and observation.

4

Certification Decision

An independent reviewer — separate from the audit team — makes the certification decision, ensuring impartiality.

5

Surveillance & Recertification

Annual surveillance audits across a three-year cycle, followed by recertification.

Decision independence

The auditor who gathers evidence is never the person who decides. That separation is what makes an Anavah certificate defensible.

Certification decisions are never contingent on purchasing any other service.
